Ginna Heiden is an artist in Rio Rancho, NM, best known for colorful, organic abstract paintings in oil or acrylic.  As her teaching career was winding down, she enrolled in art classes at UNM focusing on jewelry.  After moving to Silver City, she discovered her true passion in painting.  She studied oil painting with a local landscape artist and then took painting classes at WMNU. She is inspired by the field of positive psychology and the science of happiness.
